Service Description

This is an introductory fencing camp - no experience necessary! Fencing is a unique individual sport that combines mind and body and develops the ability to plan strategy quick and adjust to changing circumstances. There is not specific body type needed in fencing - smaller students can use their quickness, while taller opponents might use their reach. Every student adapts their own individual strategy in this sport. This camp will teach the basics of footwork, bladework and tactics with a fun mini tournament on Friday - spectators welcome. Renaissance Fencing is one of the top youth fencing clubs in the United States with professional, full-time coaches and a state-of-the-art facility. We will have fun and introduce your child to one of the fastest growing Olympic sports. Curriculum developed by three-time Olympian Ann Marsh-Senic.
